Have you noticed the "Zion Ministries" table in the narthex? Each month a different ministry of Zion will be featured. Take some time during the month to learn about the ministry from the display, take home a handout explaining the purpose and responsibilities of the ministry, and prayerfully consider if God is calling you to be a part of that team. He has a place for you to serve in at least one ministry. This month's feature is Disciple. Additional team members are needed for next year, but don't wait --- new team members are always welcome. A sign-up sheet is on the table, if you would like to respond (or you can contact a member of the Nominations and Lay Leadership Committee, or you can just call or e-mail the office, (724) 353-1720 or office@zionsarver.com.
Cabot Food Bank is in great need of grocery items or monetary gifts. The donation boxes are located in the narthex and downstairs by the elevator. Please donate only nonperishable items.
Copies of Administrative Board, Council, and Trustees minutes are on the counter beside the office door. If you can't find them, just ask the office manager.
Newsletter articles are due the third Wednesday of each month. We'll be assembling the next newsletter for mailing on Friday, September 24, at 9:00 a.m.--volunteers are much appreciated! Thank you, Sandy, for your help last month!
Permission to use the Zion facilities comes from the Trustees, who meet the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Submit all written requests to them in care of the church.

If you ever do not receive your contribution envelopes, please let the office manager know. Envelopes come every two months. If you currently do not receive envelopes, and want them, notify the office manager and an order will be placed for you for the next two-month period.
