Have you noticed the "Zion Ministries" table in the narthex? Each month a different ministry of Zion will be featured. Take some time during the month to learn about the ministry from the display, take home a handout explaining the purpose and responsibilities of the ministry, and prayerfully consider if God is calling you to be a part of that team. He has a place for you to serve in at least one ministry. This month's feature is Library Committee. Additional team members are needed for next year, but don't wait --- new team members are always welcome. A sign-up sheet is on the table, if you would like to respond (or you can contact a member of the Lay Leadership Committee, or you can just call or e-mail the office, (724) 353-1720 or office@zionsarver.com.
Prayer Warriors! It has come to my attention that my list of all Prayer Warriors is in dire need of an update. If you are a Prayer Warrior, would you please e-mail or call me with your name, e-mail address, and phone number. I would also like to know who contacts you, if you contact anyone, and if you are willing to make a couple of phone calls to those that do not have an e-mail. Summer is here, which means it's time to sign up for "special music" in our summer worship services. Anyone with a musical talent to share is encouraged to sign up. The sign-up sheet is on the narthex hall bulletin board. Call Linda McCall if you have any questions or need help finding music.
Brotherhood CD's are available in the narthex for any donation ($5.00 is generous). Just put your donation in the box and take a CD. The songs are from their performance at Butler County Community College for a benefit for Penn Christian Academy and from music done here at Zion this year. Thanks for your support.
