Have you noticed the "Zion Ministries" table in the narthex? Each month a different ministry of Zion will be featured. Take some time during the month to learn about the ministry from the display, take home a handout explaining the purpose and responsibilities of the ministry, and prayerfully consider if God is calling you to be a part of that team. He has a place for you to serve in at least one ministry. This month's feature is the Church and Society Team. Additional team members are needed for next year, but don't wait --- new team members are always welcome. A sign-up sheet is on the table, if you would like to respond (or you can contact a member of the Lay Leadership Committee, or you can just call or e-mail the office, (724) 353-1720 or office@zionsarver.com.
Cabot Food Bank is in great need of grocery items or monetary gifts. The donation boxes are located in the narthex and downstairs by the elevator.
Newsletter articles are due the third Wednesday of each month.
Permission to use the Zion facilities comes from the Trustees, who meet the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Submit all written requests to them in care of the church.
